First Aid Measures (Section 4)
👁Eye Contact▼
Flush immediately with large amounts of water for at least 20 minutes. Seek immediate emergency care — wet cement causes progressive chemical burns.
🖐Skin Contact▼
Flush with large amounts of water. Remove contaminated clothing, shoes, and tools. Cement burns develop slowly — do not dismiss initial mild irritation. Seek medical attention.
🫁Inhalation▼
Move to fresh air. Wear N95 or P100 for dusty operations. Long-term silica exposure causes irreversible silicosis.
🫦Ingestion▼
Rinse mouth. Give water. Call Poison Control (1-800-222-1222). Seek medical attention.
